Mid-Year Price Increase

Hi. The '05 MSRP increased by $200 in the middle of 2005. Does anyone why? Will the same thing happen for the '06? I am debating whether to buy an '06 now or save more money by waiting till next Fall to get one at invoice or below. I don't need a new car "right now", but I will need one soon (within a year or so). I was very close to getting an '05 at invoice a week ago but after seeing the new features in the '06, I definitely want the '06. I just want to make sure I won't be screwed by a price increase sometime next year.

i think it was because costs of steel went up.

i know infiniti did the same thing in january $200.

i've been reading articles that GM's suppliers are losing a ton of money because of the cost of steel rising, so i wouldn't doubt that it could happen again.
