Metal Trim in Ebony Interior 6MT (pix)

Here's some pix of my metal trim kit. I'll try again, another time to get a better image of the ambient light against it.

Enjoy!

Full Dash

Centre Stack

Driver side door

Front passenger side door

Rear Door

Blue Ambient light aginst the metal trim

Blue Courtesy light mod

Here, I hope this is better...as you can see, I'm new at this pix posting thingamagic.

Think you can reformat those and post them again? Too huge to get a feel for. I could like to see a shot from between the back seats that showed the whole canter area if you have time.

Thanks, I like it!

i think its too much metalic trim. i like the ones where the door locks are, but i don't like the compartment trim section as well as the shifter section.

I like the 4 door pieces. Come to think of it, I think the U.S. Accord EX w/ Leather and above come with those exact pieces standard on the doors. Why didn't Acura put them standard on the TSX? They really make the door area look better IMHO.

Yes it is too much metal also. The door peices are nice but on the shifter that is when they went too far. I compared both TSX's at the dealers and i knew i wanted the one without the metal trim kit. Even without the metal trim kit there is enough metal to satisfy anyways.

I changed the courtesy lights w/ blue bulbs during our first T.O. TSX meet, thanks to Pinky

Back at the other forum, I first saw the blue ambient light against the metal trim in the centre and knew I wanted it. With the stock black centre area, the ambient light just gets absorbed.
I guess this is a personal preference, much like interior and exterior colors.

Thank you for posting these! I have found salespeople to be unclear about all the pieces involved. I might not order it.

I would have prefered it if the Ebony interior had a rich wood trim.
