This past Friday, I bought a 2008 TSX non-navi. I love it, but I have some questions about the Memory Seats.

I have linked my controls with the car, one for me and two for my wife. When I open the car, the seat moves. I was told it was the seat, A/C controls, and Radio presettings.

Along with the seat postion, what else is in memory? I thought the radio stations and A/C. My wife was listening to 102.3 and when I went out this morning and unlocked the car. The seat moved, but the station was still on 102.3. That is not even programed for me, or atleast I don't want it to.

So, what is in "memory" when the car knows that Driver 1 unlocked the car?

 

i don't know about the '08 but I have an '06 and the only thing that is kept in memory is the seats.....

someone correct me if i'm wrong.

 

^^was 102.3 a presetting? or was that just the last station she listend to? I personally thought the seats were the only thing that was memorized.

 

Memory seats are just that...memory seats. It's not "memory seats/radio/ac". Side view mirrors don't even adjust for us.

There are two address books (one for each driver), but you still have to specify which address book to use I think. (Maybe "go home" is different?)

The MID settings can't be adjusted without the remote being paired. So I assume those settings are linked to the driver (how long lights stay on, intermittent wipers, etc)

 

As far as I know its just the position of the seats. I was really dissappointed with this. I thought seats and mirrors at least should be linked to the remotes. The radio would be nice though.

 

So the MID settings are paired with the remotes as well? That would be nice.

 

When I picked up my 08 last week they said the the memory would adjust the seats and the mirrors. Nothing else was mentioned.

 

The TSX doesn't do the mirrors. Maybe the TL does it, and your salesman confused the two?
