So I test drove the mazda 3 s today the 4 door sedan pretty nice car although i didnt like the fact that power seats were not available, any thoughts on this car? Fully loaded it was 22,000 with navi. As im moving up to UCSB and i dont really want to get a 30000 dollar car like the TSX as i know it will probably get messed up. But man ive never seen such an awesome interior as a tsx with navi on black leather any input on the mazda 3 would be appreciated. btw how does ford fit in the mazda picture? Are they made in japan with just ford overseeing the operation?

the mazda3 is the first of many cars from the ford global platform..

Mazda3, Volvo S40(?) and new Focus all share the same platform.

All this Mazda talk and people getting pissed that they are being compared to Fords...when it's practically a Ford, a little dreaming of Bimmers, talk of HID's and Xenons....makes me wonder.......
Is TSEAN, GOSPEEED looking for a new car and asking for advice?

the only good news is u'll be saving $10K by going mazda. everything else is inferior in the 3.

the mazda 6 is nicer.

still can't believe this was the same mazda that only 3-5 yrs ago couldn't sell any of their cars and saw very few mazdas on the road. they're like nissan/infiniti, they're being resurrected from almost bankrupcy and trying to regain the sales lost to Toyota and Honda.

I drove the crap out of some mazda 3's at the mazda rev it up comp and its a damn fine lil car.

The TSX will ride smoother, be more comfortable, have more rear seat room etc.

But in retrospect, I might have bought a mazda 3 if I had driven one before the TSX....

However I dont regret getting my TSX one bit. My ONLY regret is not getting a navi.

Sorry for the post didnt know we were supposed to ONLY talk about the TSX. Im just trying to find something like it but not as expensive as im going to school in Santa Barbara and it most likely is going to get screwed up.........

So save yourself a lot of time and money and buy the best car to have get screwed up...along the lines of a 12K Civic. That's why I bought mine...to run the shit out of it!

Instead you are looking at a 22K Mazda with no HIDs or a 26K TSX...don't make sense to me, but it's your money buddy!
