Madico Charcool or Hanita Solar Zone Omega Plus

Hey Guys I'm getting my car tinted tommorrow mourning and I have a choice between two Hybrid Tint Films. I'm planning on getting 35% all around.

The price is the same $265. Which of these two brands would you guys recommend or have had experience with.

Their websites are below.

Hanita Solar Zone Omega Plus 35

I have Madicco Charcool 5% on rear and visor strip and 20% on the sides. I only use Madicco films. It's thicker and sturdier. It heat shapes well and holds it's shape so you don't get big bubbles. Madicco is one of the only films that can bend enough when heated to wrap around the rear window on a new VW Beetle and keep it's color. Never heard of Hanita Solar Zone Omega Plus 35, so can't compare them.

The Madicco Charcool film is the color used to match up the front drivers and passenger windows on "most " cars with factory/stock tinting on the rear. The closest match is Charcool 20%.

On most trucks, vans and suvs they come with the rear windows "smoked" or aka tinted. When I say rear I mean all the windows behind the drivers and passenger front doors.

Madico Charcool is used to match up to the factory tinted or smoked glass. Just saying this to give you a refference as to what madicco charcool film looks like. Madicco charcool 20% looks like that factory smoked porion of vans, trucks and suvs!

OK, that makes sense. I'm going with 35% as I don't want it that dark. Just talked to the tinter again today and there actually aware of the fact that some TSX scratch the tint.

This is his response.
"THEY DESIGNED A NEW STYLE RUBBER THEY CLAIM IT IS SELF CLEANING BUT IT IS
SELF SCRATCHING WE WILL DETERMINE IF YOU HAVE IT OR NOT AND IF YOU DO WE
WILL GIVE YOU A SPEIAL CLEANER WAX FOR YOUR WINDOWS CALLED PLEXIS GOOD
QUESTION"

I wonder if the plexis stuff will actually do anything, Seems like 50% of the people that have tinted windows have a problem, and 50% don't. I'm hoping I'm going to be in the lather group.

Tint scratching

Make them put in felt before they apply the tint or you'll be sorry. I got some of the film to spray on my windows to stop the scratching...... Guess what....

You'll forget to spray it and the tint will get scratched..........

I know............ from experience..

Hey Cjams, do you have any felt liner or anything on yours since yours isn't scratching?

Also any of you guys get the front eyebrow tinted? I'm still trying to decide if I want that. I think it looks classier without the eyebrow tinted. But still have about 12 hours to decide
