Machined Rotors - now wheels out of alignment

Hi -

I took my car to the dealer about virbation while braking and they machined the rotors (seems the rotors were warped).

I now feel that the wheel alingment was off, it was ok before they machiend the rotors. Does the rotors got anything to do with wheel alignment? or did they not put the same wheel back at the same side after removing for rotors machining.

Should I ask dealer for free wheel alignment?

Thanks.

I can't see how any amount of brake work would change your alignment. Alignment is a suspension issue and you don't need to touch the suspension to remove a rotor.

I would have to agree with Dan Martin... Brakes are a completely different system from the suspension. I would take it back to the place you got your brakes serviced and ask them if they can check out your alignment and see if there is anything they can do to help ya.
Did they use a lift or jacks? (Either or shouldn't have messed with your alignment but I've seen people jack their cars up off their suspension which doesn't help the alignment much.)

Took it to the acura dealer, Not sure if they left or used jacks.

I will take in to them again soon and have them check it out.

Thanks for the information.
