Lower Control Arms

Can anyone give me a rundown of how to pull the lower control arms out? I am wanting to replace the compliance bushings but not really to clear on how to do it. Would like to take the control arms out and then just take them and have the bushing pushed in at a local shop. Are there any specialty tools that need to be used when taking out the LCAs?

Any help would be appreciated!

There are a few youtube videos that demonstrate removing the LCA from other Honda models (Fit, Odyssey, etc.) and the only special tool seems to be a ball joint separator (aka pickle fork). You can get these for ~$10

You can get a pair of new LCAs with bushings for $150, so I think most people replace the whole thing -- that's my plan.

From what I have seen unless you have a torch to heat the bushings up, you are better just replacing the LCA. Please don't use a pickle fork as that will damage the boot on the lower ball joint. Also the cheap stuff on Ebay will either be too big or won't work properly. One that I found and I have used for a few of these jobs is the Kukko ball joint separator. It is around $130-$150 but worth the investment.
