Which looks better?

I took the front plate mount off my 2006 TSX today. Once I got finished, I saw that there was one extra place for a screw that was not attached. It would have gone through the bumper, I guess. I am glad it was not attached, or I would be leaving the plate mount on there. Since there is no front plate required here in Mississippi, I decided to see what it looked like if I took it off. I like it. Below are some before and after pics. Which do you think looks better?

Definitely without. We'd probably all drive without a front plate if it was legal.

It looks MUCH better without the front plate.

Here in Delaware, we are not issued front tags at all.

If feel bad for people who live in states that require a front license plate. I think it ruins the look of the car. If our plates were more like Europe I dont think it would be so bad.

We've never had to have them in Florida. I'm probably going to get an Acura plate for the front. I found a nice one here: Acura License Plate

I'm pretty sure Texas requires the front plate - most states do...

Looks better without the plate. Too bad they're required here in California.

It's required here in CA, but I don't have it. I also know several other TSX owners never put the plate on, either.

Definitely required. Got a friggin' ticket this summer for it. Icing for my speeding ticket. Bastards. They won't usually pull you over for just the plates. They will get you for something else and then write you up for it. Not every city in DFW does but Dallas will.

Years ago I had a friend who was driving an old VW on Fort Ord, in Monterey, CA. The car had Washingtont state plates. He was pulled over one day and asked about his front tag. He finally convinced the MP that his car is legal and was allowed to drive off.

A couple of hours later, the same MP pulls him over and - you guessed it! - asks if his state requires front plates. My friend was convinced this bozo simply didn't remember he'd pulled him over before....

Definitely looks better without it. Fortunately I live in a province doesn't require it.
