Looking to get myself into a 1st gen TSX, need some advice on pricing
Hi all,
It's been awhile since I've posted, but I'm going from my old CL-S to a 1st gen TSX. I've loved the car since forever.
I went to the dealership yesterday and checked out a 2007 TSX with just under 20k miles on the dial (something like 19,800 or something). We couldn't reach an agreement on the price, but I'm thinking that they would be willing to let it go for $23,000 out the door with certified warranty status.
I'm trying to gauage what the market is for '07-08 TSX's, with tax, the "real" price would have probably been about $23,800 or so.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated on whether this would have been a 'good' transaction, things to watch out for with tsx's from '07-'08 and such.
thanks in advance!

For comparison purposes:
I just bought a 2007 with 54000 miles on it. Automatic transmission, no navigation. I walked out the door for $19,000 including the 1100 they gave me for my trade-in. It was not certified. I'm extremely pleased so far!
Hope this helps!

I don't know what the prices are out there in SoCal, but around here (North Carolina), you should be able to get a 2007 (non-NAV) CPO with mileage in the mid-20's to low 30's for about $21,000 plus TTL. $23,000 seems a bit high to me, but not by much (maybe $500 or so). You are getting a very low miles car, tho.
Whatever you end up getting, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
