Light by the temp gauge

On the left side by the temp there is a light that is the same place as the low fuel light on the right.

Does it ever come on for anything? I looked in the book but didnt see it

I'll look when I get back to the garage after work. I think it's for the alarm, being that I don't remember reading anything about a light for overheating as part of the temp gauge.
