I dared my best friend to get VULVO PWR on her V70 X-country wagon.

When I see license plates with "sex" or "hot" or "fast" or "cool" in them, I think, "adolescent." YMMV. Don't appeal to the hot chick on the corner with your plate ... appeal to the person you want to respect you from all corners. Just my . You can outgrow your license plate, and then where are you?

Anyway ... you're in Northern California, n'est-ce pas? TSX 1138 will get some knowing smiles. Maybe you don't know that the main character got away in a high tech race car.

Well said, the same conversation came up at the "other" tsx site amongst me and two other members. In the end, aside from OSHI TSX, the other two were something that I don't think I would have gone through with;

I want something that will give the individual seeing it the "HAHAHA" or "Damn, that's clever". If I am spending the money to have the custom plate, I'd like it to be well thought out, not just something that I put together in a minute.

Although you may consider "OMG TSX" as adolescent-ish, I wouldn't mind having that, since a photo shoot with that plate along with OMG CL (Klepto) and OMG TL (Z3ro) would be pretty cool D:

I think "AI YAHHH" would be pretty funny, for those who are familiar with and or hang out with chinese people

Absolutely right, pick one that really hangs in your mind. Not sure i get OMG TSX beside the obvious. I think AI YAHHH would be cool, actually. I'd grok it just knowing it's an Asian-built car.

The first time I saw OSHI TSX, I thought of this, actually, and wondered what the connection was (until I looked the game up).

I guess if you wanted the double-entendre of TS(e)X, you could do things like
CASUL TSX
CSUAL TSX
BCKSEAT
(and TSX is implied)
PREMRTL (ditto)
TSX YALL (might not fit your image; alternative, TSX UAL)
TSX PSTV (pretty sly, I think; YMMV)

I kinda like that last one. Like Mensa, not everyone gets every witty vanity plate ... but those that do can go, "Oh, a-ha, ha-ha-ha, that's clever."

... Wait, are they STILL limited to 7 chars in Calif.? That's ridiculous; it's 2008 fer cripes sake. I've seen 9 or more elsewhere, plus common punctuation marks.

I personally won't put OMG TSX unless you have a ride like cccolt. Few mods on your car w/ that plate doesn't match up, IMO.

Here's what I narrowed them down to:

TE ES EX
OMG TSX (Would be nice to shoot with Klepto/Z3ro [OMG CL, OMG TL] )
OSHI TSX (If allowed)
SO TSEXY

Would have the let you done the OSHI TSX one.

I kind of wish I had gotten "NOT A TL" though. OSHI TSX would've been my 3rd choice

Why do you mount your front plate like that. Mount it the other way, so the plate is facing towards the ground, not the sky. (but not so much that you can't see the plate face.)

The OEM mount scratched my bumper, quite possibly because San Francisco residents do not know how to parallel park.
I relocated it to the bottom that way with a steel plate L bracket. If I had the tools and skill to do it the other way, I would. It doesn't bother me so much though, and I usually only run plates when I have to go to work (SFPD/DPT are assholes about no plates). And I don't like the JDM relocator brackets either.. if I had a choice, I'd run no plates, but there are consequences of that in which I can't afford to pay every week

I disagree. Some are really stupid but... on the way home one day I saw a suit and tie guy in M45x with license plate that said "401K2IRA". He is trying to brand himself. My buddy has one that is "PLN4LIFE" and he is a financial planner.

BTW I really like your painted OEM grill. Did you do that yourself? Did you strip the chrome off first?

Or out-of-towners who never learned to parallel park moved there, and are #*@&ing up cars.
