Which license frame is nicer?
I just bought a "TSX" license frame and I feel like I may regret not getting an Acura license frame instead. I also have a third frame, which I only really use in the summer because I'm afraid that it may rust or corrode due to the salt.
Of these 3 frames with a clear or smoke cover, which looks or what would you pick to put on your TSX?
A.
(Had kind of like this one, but it rusted, so that is why I bought a TSX one instead).
B. (I bought this one).
C. (still have it, but don't use it often).

Option B, I still have my dealer license plate covers on, the only reason is because they have a plastic covering that protects the actual license plate and keeps it in good condtion.
btw; xenonhid' thats one sparkling TSX, me like.

A looks like something the dealer would force upon your car while you look away, having both the name and logo looks like desperate brand promotion.
B looks awesome, it puts emphasis on the TSX model and deprives the drivers of other Acura models of the love of which they are not deserving.
C looks gaudy, more suited for a Cadillac or Lexus.

Ever since CA required proof of insurance when renewing your tags, registration sticker theft has gone way up (according to my police officer neighbor).
When I apply a new tag (just the year sticker here in CA), I take an X-acto knife and slice through it diagonally so it's hard to peel off. I also put some clear glue over it.
It doesn't prevent someone from cutting up your plate or stealing it all together, but it offers some marginal protection.

when the weather gets warmer and no more salt i'm going to put my TSX frame on.
yeah i'm kind of embarrassed and disappointed at Acura's situation right now. Maybe they'll put out a great new TL? But, after the ugly new Pilot, ugly makeover of the RL, and the disappointing next TSX, I have a bad feeling that the new TL will also be a letdown.

TSX FTW!
They should have it at handaaccessories.com

I have one that looks exactly like the one that says 'TSX', but plain, without any logos/writing. I got it at Target for like $10. Looks nicer than no frame IMO.
Personally, I think the one with the TSX logo looks good, but I can't help but feel that it looks redundant on the car. I've seen some TSXs with this license plate, and the back of the car ends up having two 'TSX' logos. Maybe I'm weird, but I think it looks a bit odd.

i got myself this one
http://www.amazon.com/Acura-License-...3249211&sr=8-1
i really like the style on it. and its much cheaper. although shipping kinda breaks even compared to buying the OEM frame from the dealer. but saves me the hassle of meeting some people i dont like at the stealership

you didn't have "none of the above". i have no border of any kind. just the plain plates. nice and clean. i also cut up my registration sticker in a star pattern with an exacto knife. and i put weatherstripping around the back of the plates to prevent any rattling noises...

I used to have one that looked like "B", but instead of black TSX letters it had a subtle sandblasted/machined silver look to the letters. I really liked it until it rusted -- I wish I would've thought to take it off for the winter. I'm frameless now, but am considering getting another frame with the same subtle look to it.

I don't like plate frames saying what's already said on the card. Hence, (a) is redundant (you already have the (A) logo on the car, and have "Acura" written elsewhere), and (c) is downright awful ("logo, logo, lookit my logos!"). If you de-badge, and your plate frame says "TSX," you've got it all.
FYI, I hve a shiny, no bolts exposed plate frame. Transparent cover keeps the plate clean.
