I recently got a quote on a 36 month / 12k miles lease (non-Navi) at a residual rate of 62%. I had heard previously that the residual rate was 65 %.

I was wondering if there was a change in the residual rate or if this might be a negotiable item.

Good thread to open up - I've got some questions on this as well. I recently dug up some residual information for 48 months and 15,000 miles per year and that figure was 53% (add about 2% for 12,000 miles - making it 55% for 12k/year).

I would *love* to hear that ~60% residuals exist in the 42-48 month timeframe. Does anyone else have any information/input from their own lease experiences?

 

I had also received a quote on a 48 month/12k mile lease on a non-navi TSX: 57%

 

Generally, residual rates fluctuate from month to month based on what the lending firms estimate the vehicle's value to be worth in the future. I don't find it unreasonable that several months ago 60-65% residuals were floating around and that they have dropped. Anyone else have some news?
