Lease Pricing??

Does this quote sound good for a 2005 TSX AT non-NAV (NJ):

$359/month 36/42 months 12Kmiles

how much should NAV cost per month??

Pretty good deal if you ask me. Does this include your sales tax? I will warn you that it's better to buy than lease (monthly rental fee) but if you want the "cheaper" payments and if you are planning to trade it in after couple of years do it. I am leasing mine, but in the future I will be buying my future Acuras. My

Since the NAV is an option, the residual value stays the same and you pretty much are going to pay $2000 divided by the numbers of months you lease.

i would get the NAV, you will regret not having it later. and i always lease my cars. mainly because of my business i write the whole car payment off every year.
also the fact i dont have to replace tires or brakes or own it out of warranty.
yea in the long run i never own the car but if you ask me i would rather pay less and own 2 new cars in the same time it takes to pay off one. in the 4th and 5th and possibly 6th years i would rather not make payments on a 4, 5, 6 year old car with high miles on it.

also i get tired of cars quickly, i like to drive a new car. if you can afford to make payments and drive less than 15k a year leasing is a great option. also i have found that if you know how to negotiate you can get them to sell you a car with a high residule value. you pay less for it on a lease and when you trade it in the bank takes it in the ass and not you. we did that on my old 99 4 runner it was worth about 4g's less than what was owed on it. but in the end not my problem. i finished my lease contract and let the bank suffer the losses of trying to re coop their lost investment.

also you will find that even on a lease with hondas especially if you finance through AHF that retail value of an acurs hold so well that usually 2 years into a 3 year lease your already ahead on your payments. if you sell the car outright to a provate party there is enough equity in an Acura that you end up saving money as apposed to trading it in.

the car is for my wife. we wanted to keep her monthly expense low and get a pretty decent and safe car at the same time. she also takes the train to NYC. her daily round trip commute is 4 miles. the car will end up being our weekend car since we enjoyed the 1st year of our TL so much.

i agree with your point. this is the reason why i purchased my 04 TL. i am no longer doing consulting work which used to allow me to write off the car.

Lease is not bad if you plan to get a new car often...

also depends on how much you paying up front (or down payment)...and yes make sure the payment includes sales tax...payment including tax shouldn't be over $400 w/ Nav...
also on Acura's, there's no penalty if you want to end your lease early, you can drive a new Acura every year!!!

by the way, the $359 quote does include tax. also, this a no down deal. just inception costs.

$365/month with nav...did you put any down? which dealer did you get this from??
we are ready to order very soon.

Are you sure about the no penalty for ending a lease early? I don't think that's true...

That I know that to be the case, however, I don't think you could expect the same if you were trying to return the car a year or two early...

$434/m, 36 months, 20,000 miles per year for 5at/non-navi. MPY and no money down dictated by my firm, which leases these things for some of us. Sounds like a pretty decent deal to me.

I was told that a 42 month lease would not give me any break, which is unusual.

You can always get out of your lease, you just have to buy the car at the payoff amount.

You can get your payoff from the https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com

we're actually comparing the TSX to the Saab 9-3 the pricing is very similar.
i can actually get a nicely loaded 9-3 for $370/month with $0 inception. it is a sign and drive deal.

Yeah, but aren't you STILL PAYING what you owe? I mean, who wants to roll over payments, right?? In my experiences, I've found it's the Acura dealers who may ... may ... pay your LAST payment. If they're hard up, which they NEVER are, maybe the last two. I may be wrong in other parts of the country but on the East Coast, I'd venture to say that you really can't get out of an Acura lease.

If you insist in believing your Acura dealer won't let you out of your lease, there are sites out there and ppl who are willing to take over your lease...

For me, I only got into the lease because as a new home owner, financially this was the only way I would be able to drive the car home. I just recently got my promotion that I wanted, so I'm thinking sometime this year I will plan to buyout my lease. In the end, it'll be all worth it. I'm driving a brand new '05 TSX, what more can I ask for?? I'm loving it!!! hehe
