Looks very nice. I like the tint. Just out of curiosity, does Vegas have the strict rules about window tinting like we do in California? Here you can't tint the front windows that dark, although some people do it anyways.

...don't bother readin' the thread about what to do if we see each other, cuz you ain't gonna see anyone, I know about a fellow here who was in a bimmer with his windows tinted that way, illegally up here...with his boom box stereo going full tilt, an ambulance was coming up behind him, he never saw or heard it and made a left turn in front of it, it broadsided him at full speed, he was dead instantly...I don't care what you say to defend that look, if you can;t adequately see in, you can't adequateley see out...and I know what I'm saying because I've driven cars with tint jobs like that...what some people do to be cool is crazy...and dangerous!!!IMHO...

hey lorne, you exactly right, i did it to be cool, to be cool in the 120 degree weather we have here in Las Vegas, which by the way is so close to hell, you can see sparks. When speaking of "driving cars with tint jobs like that", I guess that makes two of us, because every car i've had has been tinted like that also. As far as the whole ambulance thing goes, you have to be pretty f@#$ing dumb not to see or hear an ambulance behind you, no matter how loud you system is or how dark you car is. Furthermore, what you see from the outside is not what you see from the inside (check my pics again), but, that's only "IMHO"

It looks good 7eighteen. I don't think I could go that dark personally...I'll stick with my 20% all the way around...but I do know some people that have the front windshield tinted also...and it definitely makes the car dark.

Wow... that is dark dark tint. The darkest I've ever had was 20% all around and none on the windshield. Personally I am not comfortable going much below 20% because of the reduced visibility at night. On poorly lit streets at night, the headlights simply do not throw enough light to the side to see adequately. During the day, however, there is no problem whatsoever. On those rare occasions that I do have a problem at night, I roll down my windows.
I think night visibility is the key issue with dark tint. I've been inside cars and trucks with 5% tint, there is no problem seeing outside during the day even though you can't see jack squat from the outside looking in.
Anyway 20% is the limit for me. And if I lieved in Maryland that's what I'd run because the cops there are not d*cks like they are here in VA, where they pull you for having 35% tint in the front side windows.
