What ever happen to 04/05 Mugen Front? Why is it not on the poll?

 

I have already made the 04-05 full lip kit bro

 

ssg...what is the outcome? what are you going to make?

That bumper would fit both 04/05 & 06 TSXs.

 

TSX market is not big enough to support a urethan mold.

and people are not willing to pay $1000's to get urethan

even Mugen's bumpers are fiber glass I think

 

my mistake then as the mugen bumper i had for my old prelude was urethan and it was a nice feature to have instead of crackign or spiderwebbign the paint when you were to low it would flex..


looking back it appears my brain wasnt connecting with my fingers.. dang typos

 

Market is different now days. the TSX market is probably only 2% of what the prelude market was

 

SSG, are you waiting for a certain number of votes? Looks like the poll has been at a stand still for a while. Its getting a vote here and there but it looks like the majority has voted.

 

FWIW, unless SSG can lay his hands on an original Phase Racing rear and side skirts, then option 3 is a null and void for starters.
Option 2 doesn't really appeal since there's very little point doing a Mugen front only - has to all or nothing, IMO.
I presume the Kenstyle is full kit all round, including grill? If so, then depending on price, that could be the one to go with, but there's already replicas of it out there.
So, we're back to Option 1 almost by default.

Personally I think Kenstyle is a bit different from the norm (Mugen/A-Spec) that seems to prevail with what seems the majority of mod'ed TSXes.

 

Im down for the kenstyle or the mugen kit. My first choice is the kenstyle though.

Hope something gets done soon. My hood and bumper is full of rock chips and i want to get my hood repainted, but its cheaper to get a kit done at the same time since they will be making paint for it.

if we do decided to do the full Mu Gen Style full kit. how many of you will actually pay to get it?

Id get the the 04/05 full bumper kit if you made it.. but if you made the 06 would it fit my 04? also if you did make the fronts id say make the sides and rears too..

Nope, not at all. There was a silver TSX featured in the June issue of Modified Mag which I thought was a pretty badass looking kit.

Even if there was alot of interest for that kit, I don't think the price is that high for the original so SSG wouldn't profit I don't think.

I am very interested in the full 06+ Mugen kit. But to be perfectly honest, I don't want to add my name to the list until I've seen pics of an installed kit on someone's car...

 

I dont think the list is to actually buy the kits because they are not made or have pricing but its to kinda to tell which kit people would be interested in most so SSG can have an idea which one he should replicate.

And yes I know, the '04 mugen bumper wasn't on the poll but no one spoke up and said add it at the time.
