Kinda pissed... WTF is up with my headlights?
Damn, this is getting kinda annoying. I've had my passenger's side headlight housing replaced last spring due to condensation.
Guess what? Now BOTH my headlights have condensation in them!!! Yeah, I guess Acura replaces them no problem, but it's such a hassle.
Why the hell do these housing keep leaking like this?
Sorry... just had to vent a little. Guess it's time to make another appointment with the dealer for this. The car's been really good to my otherwise, so I guess I can't complain too much.

that sucks...shoddy sealing labor...
if you have the time, you can buy silicone sealant (clear) and use that to seal the headlights...they are designed for that and are also water and weather proof. the majority of the headlights so on ebay for a lot of cars, (most of which are Made in China), are not properly sealed with silicone like they should be.
i'm sure acura seals their headlights like any other oem company, but probably did a shoddily job.
btw, if it helps, i see about a dime-sized of condensation on my passenger side headlight on my TSX too...and my car is 3 weeks old!!! 2005.....it at the edge...so i guess i can live with it for now...... if i becomes a serious problem, i will return to the dealer...

Can't wait to drive
i had mine (FR) replaced when I had it new..only a few thousand miles. then last week i had it replaced again (FR) . This time the dealer replaced both just for the heck of it. nice new headlights, but sucks to have them replaced again. And, what happens when I run out of warranty?? I believe Stanley is the vendor who makes the headlights..are they to blame?

My passenger side is almost completely fogged up
Nothing on the drivers side. It looks like shit and I am pissed but when I went to Honda to change my oil, their service dept is so much nicer than Acura. The guy told me if I absoultely wanted to to change it, but he said everytime they touch your car you risk something worse happening (which is true) i.e. I could get an even worse cover.
Do you think you could go into the dealer and ask them to replace it and then request that they use the silicone sealant?
what kind of sealant would they be using now?
I have absolutely nothing on my drivers side, just passenger. but the entire thing is almost fogging

You would think that this would show up on Honda USA's radar since it seems like enough people get this. The housings plus labor must cost them quite a bit for warranty work.

It's not true. If they do a quality job and have competent people working for them, then when it's fixed it should be fixed.

2004 TSX NAV 5AT MSM
I had to have my driver side headlight assembly replaced in 2003 after I got my TSX. Thankfully it hasn't been a problem since. Definately take it back to the dealer and have them replaced because it can and will damage the HID bulb (as it blew out mine).

I had the same problem with the driver side lights. My service advisor said if there's condensation, you have to get it checked out. Apparently the high intensity lights get F-ed up when condensation gets into the unit. Bring it in if you got condensation.
