anybody know how far this bumper sticks down?

i managed to destroy the bumper grille headlights and hood on our tsx last night and need to start looking for replacement parts. I'm looking at getting the kenspeed knock off I've found it in urethane for around 260.00 shipped. from the pics it includes a kenstyle grille.

why don't you just look at pictures of cars with the kenstyle kit on?

 

because they all have side skirts are dropped or parked in the weeds.

basically one can't tell.

 

Wut is a kenspeed bumper? You mentioned the kenstyle, is that the same thing? If you're worried that having a kenstyle front bumper won't match with the rest of the kit, I would say your concern is well warranted.

the Kenstyle bodykit doesn't flow well with most other kits. while the mugen and euro R are going for sharper features, the kenstyle becomes more rounded as i'm sure you know.

IMO (which i know isn't worth much haha) i would say to avoid getting only the k-style front bumper without getting the rest of the kit.

 

ill need to see what $$$ amount the adjuster gives me, if its not enough it will be none if its not the kenz it will be none as its the only one my wife works.

by k-speed its a kens knockoff lines i think will look ok with the factory skirt if we paint it correct.

I need a hood healights and radiator support to and to coordinate all this as quickly as possible. will most likly pic up headlights tommorrow.

you will need a paint job... and I have fog lights to match with the bumper too!!!
buying replicas are risky, because they most likely dont fit and require fabrication works.

my bumper already been modified to fit on my TSX so after a nice paint job, it will fit just alright.

If you are not going to lower the car or put aftermarket wheels on it, avoid the Kenstyle bumper (or any other bodykit for that matter). It will look ridiculous. Stock ride height loses every time.

 

for anyone else that searches latter I found this pic. for me it might be too low my wife considers a car "transportation" nothing more so the car doesn;t get washed or maintained unless I do it. she could honestly care less if it were modded or not, its duraflex but fiberglass so im starting to shy away. she ran the stock bumper into parking curbs pretty often and i don't want to buy one just to have it get cracked.

i have the tools and experience to set the kit up just wish i had the time.
