Just a rant...

Just wanted to vent my frustration. First my dealer said that my TSX would be in Tues. Then Wed. Then yesterday, and now guess what? Still not here.

They don't know exactly where it is because "it's hard to track these cars because they come from Japan." All he says his computer says is "imminent."

grrrrr.......

My point exactly. One of my co-workers made a very valid point: "do you think that they really don't keep track of a $30,000 item? Like they just let them float around the country without knowing exactly where they are."

How true.

Acura has a computer system to track things, but the trucking and transportation is handled by third parties. Once the car is off the boat, Acura relies on feedback from truckers and/or rail workers. If they don't provide timely information what more can we do?

I always advise my clients that the delivery times are not guaranteed. I've had the cars arrive on Sunday and sit a week on the pier waiting to go through customs.
