Welcome. I find that after owning my car after a year, I am rediscovering why I pick the TSX to begin with. It doesnt excel specifically at any one aspect (although interior is very nice), but does everthing well. It's fun to drive, looks sporty with the body kit and yet its also a has a nice ride that is stiff but refined, and has a classy appearance with its subtle lines. A peppy engine with good fuel efficiency.
Most recently the one thing that I have noticed is the precision of driving dynamics (steering feel/accuracy , road feel/nibleness and an awesome 6pd gear box - i got the 5 AT and discovering the Tiptronic is not bad at all) and solid reliability.
When i see other cars on the road, i often think what if? And if I had settled But what i had been neglecting for a good part of the year is how awesome the TSX is. When the gas was expensive didnt really affect the TSX, when gas is cheaper, all the better. If I could've gotten a more powerful sporty car, it wouldnt have the same class/reliability as the TSX and would had suffered when gas was expensive. If I got a hybrid, well it would be no fun on the other end of the spectrum.
I realize its time to appreciate what we have and to that end this car is a jack of all trades for me. sporty/classy, stiff/refined, fun/fuel efficient, luxurious/reliable, nimble/spacious. My TSX evokes emotion and logic at the same time and reaffirms what a great choice the TSX really is!
I realize you just got the car and might be overwhelmed with excitement that you might not notice the little details that makes this a great car. Hopefully I have given some sense of those details that you may discover the subtlety that would only grow in appreciation the longer you own the car. And if you forget those things, I am certain down the road that you will have the same realization as I just had.
/end of long read.
