Just got my TSX, Came out of the driveway and nailed the curb because of STEEP DIP

I just got my tsx like 2 weeks ago and I take extra ordinary precautions to protect my car like park far away from other cars and what not. Well today I was getting out of my narrow driveway and on the way out i turned into the street and my front bumper nailed the sidwalk curb because my tire came out at the wrong angle and it went on top of the curb. and since the curb is so steep, when the front end rolled off the curb the bottom right edge of the front bumper hit the curb.

The damage is pretty unnoticable until u walk up to it and really look at it, because it did take like around 6x6 inch area of paint with it too. I'm thinking of replacing the bumper, because I was going to change it into a acura lip spoiler anyways, doesn't that just replace the entire bumper and it should be fine? I wanted to find out if that method will work and if any of you have any other suggestions for my ruined beauty.

Thanks

Should I replace the bumper ? if so how much does it cost for a full bumper replacement? I also have a question about the front underbody spoiler? how does that work, i thought it replaces the front bumper but after looking around online it seems like its an extension of the front bumper, can someoene clarify for me? THANKS

sorry to hear about your accident, but maybe it's fate...perhaps your car is telling you to get a new phase or mugen bumper

Hope everything gets fixed to looking like new

The front lip will definately cover it. The lip wraps around bottom 3/4ths of the foglight housing area.

Ouch!

Just be extra careful when you get the new lip because it will be even lower.

It is an extension. And now's the time to get one--it'll cover that up nicely. Check pics of people who have one. Here's one of mine. The first pic should be the most helpful to you.

Ouch. You should definitely get the lip spoiler, but you got to be extra careful.

Wait a while, then get the lip later. You don't want to get the lip next week then snap it off on your driveway while you're still getting used to the car.

That's some nasty damage but a good thing that it's underneath the car, not in a very noticable location.

Heh, I did the same thing when mine was new... coming from my 4Runner where I would take speed bumps as fast as possible it took some time to adjust.
