Just DEBADGED! I can't seem to get the adhesive stuff off! SUGGESTION?

Just DEBADGED! I can't seem to get the adhesive stuff off! SUGGESTION?

I've used the Bug and Tar removal by turtle wax and the wifes fingernailes and it is not working......... Any suggestions, this is making me mad man.......

Try soaking with WD40 that gets most adhesive off.
Check it doesnt damage the suface that the adhesive is on.

RB,

Use paint thinner. Don't use anything abrasive like bug and tar removal... that might scratch your paint.

When they put gold emblems on the cars here at the dealership the tech uses a heat gun to remove the chrome. He heats them up and they peal off clean. They just wipe it with a solvent that does not attack paint.
