Has anybody thought about changing their TSX to euro honda badging just to confuse the crap out of people?

I cant even think about it cuz I have a lease but I think it would be interesting.

Yeah the car is an Accord, so how would it be interesting?
Why stop at the Accord badge? You want to change the A emblems to H emblems too? What about the A on the steering wheel? What about getting Honda navi software so it'll show the H?

Point is if people want to do that stuff, its their car. But to do it just to confuse people, that dumb. :ghey:

BUT the difference there is, an AMG Mercedes in the US is an AMG Mercedes pretty much worldwide.

Wheras Acura is in the Lexus/Infiniti, racket because when Japanese mfgs wanted to expand outside of economy and basic cars at the time lexus infiniti etc came out, nobody was going to pay 40 grand for a nice Toyota.

Just thinking of the sounds of the words, I like "Acura" better than "Honda". Maybe it has something to do with a certain street fighter character. Oops, have I given away my age?

Do u you know what AMG is? AMG isnt just a badge, AMG models are "tuned" (engine, suspension, brakes) from the factory. AMG has had a great history in racing.

The TSX IS an Accord. A "luxury' Accord, but still an Accord.
The TSX isnt a Euro R, isnt an Accord Type S, its just a PLAIN Euro/JDM Accord w/ "Acura luxuries" such as Navi, leather, etc. So putting an "Accord" badge, a "Euro R' badge or whatever badge actually cheapens the Acura TSX.

Exactly, so putting on a Accord or a H emblem on your TSX would just cheapen it and people will call you ricey.

Seems kinda silly to do it just to fool people. Actually, seems kinda silly to do it at all. But that's just my take.

I am planning on rebadging my TSX to Honda Accord Euro by this summer. I don't really see anything wrong with it and its not really considered rice.

How about badging it as an Accord Euro R?

I actually saw a rebadged Acura TSX. I think the person put a white/red honda emblem that said "Inspired". Forgot, but it didn't look bad at all.

I said this earlier in this therad. Doing a half fast "JDM badge conversion" is dumb.

i just shaved all my emlbems why put different ones on...it looks soo much cleaner without emblems...got the mugen front grill so no acura emblems on mah ride. except the on the rims =)
