If you have $1900 to spend on rims and tires, I suggest you keep looking.

Chrome rims used to be cool, but it's so old. I wouldn't get it if it was half price, those looks alright but the black ones might be better.

Such a opinion-based question. I also don't like chrome, particularly on the TSX. But that's just ME. It's your $.

Not for me, but if you like them, that's all that matters. I honestly think you can get better rims to pay $1,900 for.

Definitely seen worse, with that said I am not a fan of that choice at all. And $1900!?!?! I can get 18” rims with tires for 1200-1300 depending on make and tire. There are definitely some better shops out there Tire Canada for one on Steels and Weston great shop. BTW; two of my buddies and myself are picking up wheels and tires within this upcoming month (February) maybe you should come along, group savings!

Maybe we're getting old Vega. I think the same thing about chrome just not looking as cool as it used to. Then again, at least they aren't spinners. Or chrome spinners. Or chrome spinners with neon in them.

I think the wheels are really nice, but the chrome makes them look a little 'blingy'. The black ones however, are pretty slick. This is coming from a guy that's very particular about black wheels. What color is your car?

+1. Those look better on a 300C or Caddy, but not a TSX.

damn u guys, now im starting 2 have second thoughts.lol...i disagree with how u guys are saying chrome doesnt look good on a TSX. i have a white TSX and when chrome hits white i think it sets it off. i personally think black rims are getting old, but then again its all opinion.

I also have a pwp man; it all depends on your taste. Personally the TSX is a performance oriented vehicle, at least that what it feels like and drives like. Go with something a little sportier, an hyper silver racing style wheel will look great on pwp, check the wheel and tire gallery some great pictures and ideas there.

Personally on just a side note, mesh style wheels are starting to get plaid out also... I personally want to go with something very similar, if not identically to the following.

looks great with the drilled rotors

It’s your taste it’s your car, I would throw chrome rims on Cadillac, or a GS350 something along those lines, and I guess the rest of us here are just registered performance freaks (fanatics).

Very candidly put! but in all honesty don’t rush into anything, take your time and make an informed decision, we can only offer your our opinions but almost 95 percent of the wheels in the tire gallery are NOT chrome… doesn’t that tell you something?

Chrome rims are nice on certain car, but not on a TSX. Search around on the forum or the net, and you will change your thought quickly about the chrome rims...

In my own opinion, in order for the chrome rim to look nice, there's 3 factors...

1. Must be 19" + , stagger style.
2. Car must be consider luxury, Acura brand just doesn't flow with it (TL or RL for that matter, forget about those EL/CSX.)
3. Must have a unique striking style. Or else it makes no differences w/ a Canadian Tires one, if you are from T.Dot you know what I mean.

Why the hell are those ugly ass rims $1900? That's absurd. They'll be heavy as hell and make your car ride like ass.

I mean, I guess they're decent wheels... for me to poop on!

I dislike how the rims hide the screw holes, it's as if it's understating the wheels when the whole point is to make them more noticable. The design otherwise makes no sense, I'm not sure what these rims are trying to tell me about whatever car they're on.

Also where does the $1900 figure come from, I'm not see $199.00 and $220.00 per unit, is there a currency exchange rate involved or something?

first of all, how about you write so that we all can understand easily?

and i've never been a fan of chrome rims. How about Mugen NR(?) mirror finish rims?

They look pimp!

actually funny that u bring up the Mugen NR's. i was lookin at those as well except i want a deep dish. ye i know im picky. but i want sumthin that most ppl dont have on their TSX. i always like to do things differntly and to make my car unique. guesse its just the way i am.
And the $1900 came from a local rim shop. its including tax and rubber. i was suprised to see most people suprised at the price b/c chrome rims 'rnt cheap, my any means. I could go out n get a set of black rims, and pay $1000 but its just to common for me. i want to make my TSX stand out from the others.

What people here are trying to tell you is that 1) those rims are ugly 2) they have no business being on a tsx. IMO, the look too heavy, and chrome isn't a good look on a TSX.

But as always, do what makes you happy.

For the sake of people trying to read what you write, don't write like you are IMing someone. We can write coherent sentences with punctuation, caps, and somewhat correct grammar on a message board. I know you're getting beaten up for your choice here, and I'm not trying to pile on, but it would help us read what you write.

You're confusing unique with tasteless. People won't say "hey, look at that unique TSX" they'll say "look at that ugly TSX."

It's your car, so do what you want with it. Sadly, I have definitely seen worse on this board....but that is just my own opinion. As everyone has already mentioned, $1900 is way too high of a price for a rim/tire package for those rims. You can definitely find better for cheaper...just keep looking. I don't know how you can just drop $1900 on the first wheels you see. Take your time until you find what you absolutely want.
