Been lurking on this forum for a while now, reading up on all the great info. My car choices came down to the Mazda RX-8 and Acura TSX, both similarly priced, but in the end, the TSX just made more sense all around. Picked up a Satin Silver/Ebony, 5at, no Navi, at $25200 two weeks ago and lovin it. Now i just gotta save up the money to mod it. Thanks for all the help.

welcome and glad to see you made the right choices. though the m8 is pretty good, the tsx is definitely a much better-rounded car and is, well, an acura. :captobvious:

hope you enjoy the car and the forum.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Trey, the dealership I went to was Sussman in Philly, PA, and the 25200 was including destination as well. The dealer name's I bought from was Daren. It was also an end of the month type deal, so I think that helped. Actually, I read other people getting better deals as well, around 24900. Anyways, I hope this helps.

You got a good deal on the car, and welcome!

Pray that your car will be problem-free because the TSX is known for having problems.

haha, just kidding, enjoy.

alos kbot.. i have another question i think some dealerships do like diff prices for diff colors n i was just wondering if they do that up where u are b/c if they do i would guess that black would be more expensive but not all dealerships down here do that the one that i go to doesnt so that is good but give me that info....I have another question the dealership where i live they will either match the price of that other dealership or bet it like if i where to go to another dealership n buy a car for lets say 25000 n the one near me sold the TSX for 26900 the one near me would match that price or bet it... that is what i was wondering if they do like out of state b/c if they do then that price up on PA is good damn price so then the one near me would either match that or bet that so just hook me up on that info n tell me if like the dealerships near u do like out of state competition on their cars ok thankx man this might be a lil confusing but just try n understand causes it a lil complicated typing it instead of talking to the person n telling them that way ight man later

Trey, I don't think the color of the car mattered, cause I was torn between the satin silver and carbon grey. They had neither on the lot, but I still got the price we negotiated. I really think I got the price I got because it was the weekend of the month, and they probably had to fill some quota.

About your other question, I'm a little confused as to what exactly you're askin. From what I understand, dealerships usually are in competition with one another, so if one dealership offered you a price, another one would likely try to match it or offer something lower in order to get your business. When I went to Precision Acura in Princeton, they quoted me at 26000, and Sussman was happy to steal their sell. You can try to use the price I got from Sussman as leverage, but it might be hard since your located in NC. Try some other nearby dealership if you can. You should be able to get the TSX for a lower price especially with the 2005 model comin out soon.
