It's about going back to your roots. If I had a TSX and everyone else had a TSX, I'd want to make mine a JDM Accord. I'm so happy that my car is similar ot the JDM Accord 24T (except that I got the 190hp engine instead of the 200hp). 2004 model:

For the most part, but that too general of an assumption.
I love my TSX as OEM and as for the JDM headlights, Its not because its JDM or different, I just hate the amber corners on a CGP exterior. I could careless if everyone else had clear corners.
Oyaio Gosaimasu!
BTW, cybereclipse, did you get the opportunity to visit Suzuka Circuit? or Fuji Speedway?
Honda owns majority of the track! crazy huh! and their pace car is a yellow NSX!

I lived in Japan for 6 years and the Japanese are crazy over anything American. I've seen Japanese bikers on Harleys and I've seen them dress up country and do line dancing. Once I saw a T-Shirt in English but it didn't make any sense. But it was English

We've had a few members (TL TOURER and a couple others) from Japan chiming in on this board a couple of yrs back. Some of them did the Acura badge thing too. They had some pretty nice looking cars. Wonder if they still browse this board. I think TL TOURER actually did a '06 front conversion on his wagon, I want to find out how he got that mounted since i like the '06 EuroR front...

I can see how some people want something that is uniquely theirs, and that's cool. Since genuine JDM Accords are completely absent in the US (aside from maybe a few "grey market" cars, if those even exist anymore), converting your TSX to look like a foreign-market Accord certainly makes it unique.

Nothing wrong with rebadging from Acura to Honda, I mean our windows say Honda on them, not Acura. But, I'd rather just remove "Acura" and "TSX" and at leave the Acura symbol on the car than rebadging it into an "H" Accord.

Everyones so unhappy and insecure with their cars, thats why the aftermarket industry makes a living off of us. Whatever, eventually well grow out of this phase and then look at the young people with rims, tints and that get-no-sleep exhaust.
