JDM Accord scores class victory in 25 hours of Thunderhill

Spoon Sports' specially prepared Japanese-market Accord Euro R competed in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill endurance race over the weekend, and finished first in its class and 23rd overall. In its class it competed with the likes of BMW, Porsche, Mini, and Mazda.

woohoo, Ichishima was right then about the tsx being the most tunable

These were the entries for the E1 class, beat out a M3!

Thats mighty impressive. Now if only someone in NA would have the forsight to enter a 2.4L TSX in the World Speed Vision challenge.

that's indeed very impressive. But Spoon probably has the most track racing experience and developement among the class. hmm... race suday, sell monday. things are looking good for them.

I just saw a clip of the race from inside the Accord. He passed a DC2 literally like a breeze, and an EP3 with almost just as much ease. Impressive.

But one thing though.......TSXs use K24A engine if not mistaken and the Euro R still uses the K20.....which is the engine the RSX uses.
