JDM Accord Brochure
Just received my JDM Accord brochure from a buddy I have in the U.K. SWEET options over there.
For instance, in lieu of the sunglass holder, they have an ultrasonic alarm for interior monitoring. Will write about more as I read it.

doesn't the alarm come with that feature. my factory alarm on my 94 integra gsr came with that option. that doesn't seem like a feature that you won't find already with the alram.

Well, I don't have a TSX but both my Integra and S2000 have factory alarms in them and both have a ultrasonic detector (which detects glass breakage for example) or any loud noise or actually high pitch (hence the name i guess). Are you refering to infrared sensors? If that is the case, then no my alarm do not have that feature. My point is that I can't believe they (Acura/Honda) would make a different alarm system without it in it. The only difference that I can see between my S2000 and Acura alarm:
Acura alarm has an arm/unarm range of about 500 yards... if not more.
Acura alarm does not have an automatic arm silent mode. There is always a beep. I can manually arm the alarm silently with the remote.
Honda alarm... need to be within 20 yards of car.
Honda alarm: Automatic silent arm mode.

I agree with your arming scenarios.

The interiors differ in areas, like the console and dashboard on JDM Accord (TSX) is actually the USDM Accord layout. JDM Accord get DVD option, carbon fiber look option, and a host of other things that we simply do not here or in Canada.... yet.

No I'm not. I don't really pay much attention to cars except to see how it looks or if I'm looking to buy one.
Plus, the TSX only became a possibility for me recently, so I don't know all the background.
