Just though I'd bitch about everyone bitchin in here, since I have virtually run out of things to bitch about my TSX.

 

 

i'm bitchin that i can get into the 14's in the freakin borin 1/4 mile.

auto cross > 1/4 mile drag

 

I think its entertaining to listen to people bitch about how their headliner is not perfect, or there is too much cabin noise, or the stock tires are crap, or they wish they got the 6MT instead of the 5AT, or etc etc etc.

Then you could be like this poor chap who really does have something to bitch about.

 

I've noticed that when i turn the A/C off it actually takes a second or two for the cold air to stop blowing out of the vents. That is a waste of energy and probably reduces my gas mileage. The Acura service advisor was totally rude to me and told me to "Get a life!" What's that 1-800 number to Acura corporate. I want a new car.

 

 

I love my TSX. I give it a "good girl" pat on the hood every time I put her away for the night. My own bitch today was about the dealership not the car. Cars can be fixed, some people are hopeless. Agreed we don't live in a perfect world. But why do some people who should know better go out of their way to fuck it up for others. Yes , I know it's a question without an answer and I wasn't born yesterday but sometimes you just gotta bitch.

And then you'll be disappointed when your Lexus isn't perfect........there's dozens more of these; I find it interesting how many people complain about squeaks, rattles, and various other noises.







No car is perfect....................

 

all cars have problems. And if you think about it. You are gonna hear about more problems when you are on an internet forum and then probably hear them yourself... (for example, I never thought my car was loud but since everyone has been talking about the cabin noise I feel like I'm going deaf )

 

To expand on that point I think people create so many problems... I'm guilty of it as well but it happens. We love our cars so much we notice every little thing.

I got my windows tinted a couple weeks ago and when I was driving the car back I SWORE there was an engine noise that wasn't there before. I was watching them the whole time, they never even had the hood up (obviosuly! it was a tint job!) but it took me days to convince myself nothing could be wrong.

And then people get all indignant when the dealer can't hear the same noises they do. I def think its because the dealer has normal ears and we have super ears when it comes to our cars. just my

We've almost been fighting every night to figure out who gets to keep the car the next day.

We've had new and used cars/trucks. At least the TSX doesn't shake (I mean REALLY ) or bounce, you really got to listen for any noise b/c it's quiet, it accelerates when you ask it to, it looks awesome, etc...

Yeah - I can nitpick. I can tell you a list of things that I don't like - but compared to the problems I've had before.... THEY ARE REALLY MINOR. No point even bitching about it.

 

 

Just picked up my 05 A-Spec 6MT a week ago and I have to say that I love this car! I've read all of the threads about cabin noise and I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I've heard one tiny rattle, but the car as a whole is 100% quieter than any other car I've ever driven. The handling and acceleration is on par with my old 95 GSR and I like it even better than the 02 WRX that I had! Thanks for putting out yet another great vehicle Honda!

 

The sunroof complaint kills me.

Yeah, no car is perfect and to be honest the TSX comes pretty close.

 

So why all of a sudden the change of heart? You were/are the poster child for complaints on this car...

 

I've lowered my expectations to a more realistic level. All the annoying quirks still bother me but ...ehhh... it's an Acura.

 

Very familiar too me! My wife & I always fight to take the TSX in the morning! But the different is my other car is a fully loaded BMW E46 328i instead of used truck.

 

 

i've noticed our TSX isn't a "rare" car anymore.

some people in the past whine about i bought the TSX cause i wanted to be more exclusive and rare car. it was rare about a yr or two ago cause of the lack of advertising of the car and it's a new model.

i don't care if the TSX isn't rare anymore, a lot of people are beginning to take notice the TSX is a better deal than the TL and you get a lot of car for your money.

where else can you get a "luxury" brand car that's made in japan reliability with all these options and navi for under $30K? lexus, nope, infiniti, nope, bmw, yeah right.

 

The only thing I'm bitching about nowadays is the price of gas!

 

All cars have problems, the ricer in many people brings out the overly bitching persona.

 

We have no other car/truck. We traded in the truck for the TSX and gave the Civic to his parents (they needed a car bad).

But we fight for it and to drive it. We just LOVE IT!!!!

 

Gas is getting ridiculous. It's making my daily trips to Vtec even more expensive!
