I've Joined the Family
After exactly 2 years and 11 months with the Audi family, i've came over to the Acura/Honda family. I was always the outcast, all my friends driving Hondas/Acuras. I drove a Audi A4 1.8t, modded . I had fun while i had it.
I love this car. well, only been driving it for about 30 mins from the dealership. its my first manual too.
Black on Black, 6spd, no navi. got it for $24970.50, kind of disappointed on the deal. but its still a good deal. Id post of pics, but all of you seen it. nothing special.
My initial impression...
-the steering wheels is a bit thin for my taste.
-the steering is a bit more sensitive to the road compared to my A4
-nice stiff suspension, does this car have stock sways?
-smoother and quieter, such as wind noise.
-as for power, i was a bit disappointed when i went for a test drive, but love the vtec. but 3rd gear is nice.
-I like the seats alot more, it fits perfectly on me.
overall, i like this car alot.
So, what are the usual mods for this car?

it has both front and rear sways, the rear is pathetic IMO. Like TSX'R'US said, CAI and rear sway are too good upgrades. Those were my first 2 (o how long ago that was).

Old fart
Comptech or Neuspeed rear sway...
Here's a thread with some info about them.. http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...tech+rear+sway
The Injen CAI has the most gains of the three (others are K&N and AEM...AEM is only in SRI configuration).

I have to admit, the Audi was a Great car. would have bought another one, but the problem is, i drive alot. its good while the warrenty is good, but after warrenty, you'll be spending alot of money to get things maintained. at high miles, the car isnt so great. timing belt needs to be changed out at 60k, only 60k miles.
I had a A4 with chip, exhaust, suspension, had few sets of wheels, etc... fast and handles very well. but i made a good choice going with tsx, both cars are very comparable.

Congrats on the new TSX. :bigclap: and Good luck with the new car!
Be sure to check out the car wash section, you have to be careful with the NHBP. But when they are waxed

underbody/trunk spoilers
fog lights
tint
rims/tires
congrats and hope your tsx brings you many years of joy.
btw, please tell me you already learned how to drive stick before you got the tsx.
