No wonder the automatic gets better fuel economy on the highway... In the 6 speed, 3000 RPM = 70MPH in 6th.

yeah, auto has no torque. I drove my friends automatic one and it was pretty sad. I wasn't able to feel any kind of torque on any range. I guess, I'm too used to mine...

It was really hot here today and even my A/C was having some trouble keeping up. It's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow. Yikes!

Hang on, as soon as the clouds pass over, I will post a dash pic of the temp in Phx. Three kids have already burst into flames here just from playing outside too long....

Ughh... you're sooo right. Looks like he can do 90 mph in 3k.

Why couldn't Acura space the gears out more on the MT for a taller 6th?

Anyway, mine saw 100 today over in NYC

Taken today right after getting in the car on my way to run some errands. The actual temp is about 105, which it eventually went down to. But with a window shade and 15% tint, it actually wasn't very hot in the car.
Edit: Austin, TX

He might have been going downhill, or actually whats more likely is that he just let up on teh throttle as he took the picture, dropping the revs. I'll have to check out what my 5AT does for RPMs at 80 this week.

Cool Temps!!

Crummy weather for you folks, but if it makes you feel better it was 137 yesterday (and humid) in Kuwait. Can't wait to get home in November to drive my baby that is in storage. At least I am not paying crazy gas prices in SOCAL this summer....

i can set my cruise control at 75ish (5at) and my rpms are all of about 2500rpm. it doesn't seem like 84 would be too much of a stretch at 2800rpm...
