Don't know if they be an improvement over your JL ones, but I know they'll improve over my stock speakers.

Congrats. It's a great car. I'm approaching 52k myself on my 04. Having a Cherokee this year for the winter has really saved my TSX some miles, as well as some abuse at the hands of a Northeast winter. My TSX isn't going anywhere for a long time.

Just installed about two weeks ago the alpine 17C2's in the front door and the alpine 69C2's on the rear deck. Added Dynamat on the front doors as well. They are a BIG improvement over the stock speakers for the price.

Cool, thanks for the info. I might have to do this next....

The 17C2 were hard to find(got em new off ebay). They have been replaced by the SPS 600C But if you take a closer look at the frequency specs, you will see that that the older 17C2 produce a wider range of frequency.

I have about 22000 miles (07 TSX) on mine. I still love the car. I hope Acura will surprise us all with a 1st gen. TSX with V6 power limited edition (highly unlikely). I bet so many people will jump on that one. hahaha

You seem to put miles on your car like I do. I bought my car to the dealer to have it checked over last April before the warranty ran out. Just needed the usual oil/filter change and tire rotation and balance. No problems. We are taking the car on our annual cross-country road trip in May. NC to WA drive south along the coast to San Francisco and the back east. I travel every few weeks from NC to NJ and back. Those miles go on fast.

Hahahahahahahahaha i was doing 85ish so let go of the gas to take the pic. Well I drive with one hand about 99% of the time and i had a free hand. Plus texting while driving bad idea but when i took the pics snapped like 3 shots and had my gf see if they looked ok.

Congrats! I'm just under 19k myself. Picked it up less than a year ago with 3400 on it CPO. Haven't been driving it much lately. Been trying to stay home as much as possible to save money to buy a house in a few months. She needs a garage to sleep in!

Lucky..I purposed didn't sell my 'beater' 99 civic coupe when I bought the TSX so I could keep the miles down, but it was stolen 2 f'ing weeks after buying the TSX. Guess someone figured since I had a new car I didn't need an old one.
I didn't use my car for ~4 months, so in 8 months I tackled 13k miles on my ride. I'm gonna have to buy a POS beater nobody's gonna wanna steal.

86K and going strong, Honda really knows how to make cars. That's why I didn't even bother looking into Toyota when looking for a car even though I work for them haha! Gonna have her for at least another 100K hopefully!!

I have 99k miles on my '04 and she still drives and feels like the low mileage 1st gen TSX loaners the dealer here has.
In my opinion...why buy a car if all you're going to do is NOT drive it? Mileage is just a number...maintenance is key.
I'm keepin' the camera close...I'm a nerd and want to take a picture of the odometer at 99,999 and 100,000 (if I can)...lol.
