I don't know how well it is going to do, but turtle wax has the colored wax now. I used it on the small scratches when some dude hit me in the parking lot and it works really well. It comes with a chip stick that is like a lipstick that is applied to the scratches and then hardens. Buff with the colored wax and it hides it pretty well.

When I went to college, they had some cameras for security purposes ....maybe you should head to the security office and find out if they do. Some cameras are hidden extremely well....then you'll really get revenge.

Sorry to hear/see what happened to your car. I hope you get the motherf**ker! He should be :nutkick:! That is the one thing I always worry about when leaving the car in a parking lot. I think I am going to look to park near surveillance cameras cause some people are just A-holes.

I wouldn't confront anyone who was vandalizing my property. I would just watch them do it, get a good description, and then call the police. What if you run out with a baseball bat, and it turns out you're bringing a bat to a gun fight? It's true that most of the people who would key a car are pitiful cowards, but you never know what can happen in a situation like that.

As for the confrontation part, i am not a big fan of confrontations either, but in this world of ours you have to stand up for yourself hence the term only the strong survive. And have you tried phoneing the cops and telling them there is someone keying your car? Cops don't give a shit, my friend works at a gas station and he calls cops all the time because there are crack heads in there stealing shit, you knwo what the cops said, he told my friend that maybe they should install more cameras in the store. My point being cops don't really care about your car being keyed, they care more about how much you had to drink

I'd kill the bastard that did this.
While in HS, someone stole 3 of the 4 hub cabs in my 4Runner. Boy was I pissed! They cost me $30 each to replace!! I ended up removing the last one and painting the back of the wheel with chrome paint until the end of the school year. It looked ugly, but the school cop could not find the prick who did it so it was good enough for the time being.

I read an article on the net on how to remove scratches but it's a lot of work. First you paint using paint pen, sand it down using 3M sand paper, polish, and wax. I'll try to find it and post the link.

Man, that's painful to see. Sorry to say, but I don't think the pen will cover the damaged area enough to conceal the deep cut. Wow, unfortunate. I hope you feel better though, and f those useless bastards!
