...hey gang, today I received my 'official' invitation to a VIP preview event at my local Acura dealer. It reads as follows: "Presenting a higher form of performance..."
"The meticulous design, performance and craftmanship of the new 2004 Acura TL is ready to be introduced to our most discriminating clientele."
"You and a guest are cordially invited to join us at our VIP Preview Event for an exclusive inveiling of the all-new 2004 Acura TL on the evening of Wednesday, October 15th."
...guess I should RSVP and go check it out...see what extra things they have to say to an interested audience.

i went to wayne acura in wayne nj last night, because my friend wants to buy the new TL..they had the 2004 on display in the showroom. WOW it is a beautiful car...he cannot buy it yet though..lol.

Yeah. I got a couple too...they're both directing me to the dealership where I bought my EL....I think one set was from when I requested brochures on the TSX via the web, and one is because I actually bought a car there.

I'm not sure if I'll go, since the dealership is a bit of a journey for me just to see a car I will probably never be able to buy....although, it would be nice to see it..... Hmmmmmm. Now I'm torn.

I think I will go....I'll drag my friend along too, since I do have a few extra passes. I guess I'll see what happens that day. I'll report back if there's anything new to reveal....

...the RSVP has been responded to and my son and I will go check the new TL out, it will be interesting to see what effect it has on folks like myself who've already got their money down on a TSX...the dollar differential is still significant...I'll definitely let you guys know what I think after next week's big show!!

I got one too and it's not even from a dealer where I bought my TSX. I guess they got my name since I had my previous car serviced there. Anyway, I drove by the dealership and saw a blue TL sitting on the display lot next to a CG TSX. Gonna go again to take pics later.

I also received my invite this week...I think I'll go check it out - although wifey is shaking in her boots. The last time I went to "check it out", I bought a TSX!!! Ha Ha!
