Interior blue lighting?

I just got my brand new 06 tsx (RPB/parchment interior Non Navi) and i absolutley love almost everything about the car.

One mod i was looking to do was to change the interior lights so they shine like the blue that is shown on the dashboard. I feel like the interior lighting as of now is a little bright and i think blue lighting would add a real cool vibe to the car when the interior lighting is on?

anybody know of a good product or place of purchase to acquire such a lighting system?

thanks eveyone.

I won this auction below and the guy is extremely fast with shipping.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=8022756911

Or you can visit http://superbrightleds.com (something like that) and try to locate part numbers for a lot cheaper.

However I didn't know you could just buy them from the site before buying it on EBay.

They are very simple to install and you can't beat the 9 led's you get in the doors.

Got mine on ebay and am very satisfied. Just search and I'm sure you'll find the complete interior kit.

I'm seriously considering this myself. My question is if these lights are actually strong enough to be functional. I dig the soft blue look especially because I have an ebony interior, but will I be able to see a damn thing with these? Fashion over function?

I did this with my TSX. The whole interior is blue led'ed and no, they are not strong enough to be functional. Its a bitch to see things in blue light as it is...

But it looks pretty damn wicked at night...

From eBay, it indicates that the same LED kit is available in other colors such as white, red, etc. Has anyone bought and installed the white LED kit in their TSX? How are they different from the factory's bulbs?

You could always use the vanity mirror lights to read maps and stuff. Besides reading in the dark is bad for eyes from what I always heard!

I bought some from the seller "tec_toyz" on ebay and they are great. I got blue for my 2 front doors and white for my 2 reading lights and the back roof light. They look really good. The white are not very bright and you will have a hard time reading with them but like eltownse said. I woudl recommend them.. The blue ones in the doors look really good.

They just go in place of the stock lights. It's really easy to do.

Just remember with LED's they must go in one way.......since they are a diode. I put one in and it didn't work.......had to flip it.........
