The Interior...

Since the TSX is based on the Euro Accord it shares some similarities in and out. The NA Accord also has some of these same similarities, most notably to me the radio. The "Accords" both have that bermuda triangle of knobs with that angled down design that the dash takes on. I for one absolutely hate the way the dash comes to a point and was so happy that my TSX doesn't look like that.

I am just wondering with all the knitpickers in this place.....
What do you peeps think of the design differences between the TSX and Accords?

I think the interior design of the Accord is OK, didn't have any problem with it in terms of layout and ergonomics. Everything has very good tactile feel. Some of the colour combos I don't care for. Test drove one with two-tone brown/beige that was awful, IMO.

I like both interiors, but I think the North American Accord's dash is more fitting on the TSX than on the Accord. The shield-like middle of the dash recalls the 5-point grille of the Acura brand. But I'd combine that with the TSX's center console, as I don't like the pregnant look of the Accord's lids for the compartments in the center console. And the TSX's console has a lid for the cupholders.

Both look great, the interior is where we spend our time after all. Rather than having a show off exterior, Honda aims to please the most important of people, you the driver!
