i was looking @ my policy the other day, and i noticed that i don't get the passive restraint discount. to qualify - "applies for the following passive restraints: dual air and driver side air bag only"

any of you have this discount? or are they just screwing me because i told them to quote me for the tl rate? i called the guy and told him about that, and said that everything was associated with vin numbers. of course, my response was then why was my car still listed as a tl??!?

in case you're wondering about the tl....i got the car when it first came out, and apparently none of the insurance companies had pricing for the tsx, so i told them to go with the 04 tl which they had. go figure.


oh....insurance company w/nationwide.

 

WTF, the TSX came out before the 04 TL which was still months away from release. I was in the same boat when I got my car but the VIN was all they needed to give a quote.

Anyway your getting screwed at this point because they should have the TSX in their system by now. Who knows maybe your rates will go down too?

 

Our policy with Allstate shows a discount for passive restraint and for antilock brakes. The passive restraint is good for about $8 and the antilock is good for about $31.

 

I am also with Allstate and I got $8.14 for PR and $40.94 for ABS discount.
