Does anyone have experierence permanently wiring up the power source for a Radar Detector on the 2004 TSX?

It seams like taping into the front domelight/sunglasses holder is in order, but I also have the NAV and are concerned if it's save to dig inside this area.

Instructions would be great, including how to get the unit removed from the roof to get in.

most people tap their rear view mirror w/o any problem. search for some threads about passport 8500 and valentine, there are a couple people who've done it. You don't have to remove much except expost the rear view mirror's wires.
