Installing 3rd party or Acura nav later????
Are there any benefit(s) of getting a 3rd party nav unit installed instead of the Acura one?
Is it a difficult task to purchase a non-nav TSX and install a 3rd party unit or the Acura one later on?
Thanks.

the acura navi is a $2000 factory option; for $2000 you can get aftermarket units with way more functionality
So, the question is, is the OEM navi worth $2000? My personal answer will be yes, because the location/integration/warranty of the unit is not something an aftermarket unit can reproduce

there are tons of aftermarket navi/dvd/touchscreens out there, but one of the more obvious things that the stock unit could not do is dvd video playback... $2000 is also enough money for people who are into DIY to integrate a "carputer", and the possiblities are endless with those things... including internet browsing

so you are saying there are tons of other features, however, the navi would not integrate into the console or with the other features of the car as nicely?
does the navi include traffic reports?
