Infamous water leakage in rear
I've just spent the last hour reading up on others experiences w/ the TSX leaking on the rear floor after heavy storms.
Low and behold, I go out to my car (it just rained crazy), and find my whole rear floor soaked underneath the floormats.
This seems to be a recurring issue w/ the TSX, has anyone come up w/ a solution to this or is this just a design flaw?

This is on going project that I am currently undertaking with my 06 TSX.
Currently the complete rear trunk interior is stripped out of the car. My finding are as follows. The leak looks like it was weeping in from under the trunk seal- the one that goes all the way around. I removed the seal and noticed that it was wet where it meets the trunk frame edge. Main culprit area was the horizontal area between the two rear lights, I could see rust starting to form on the edge of the frame where the rubber seal was seated. No doubt due to moisture retention as the water came in from under the trunk seal.
I removed the seal, crimped it with a pair of pliers ( off the car ) then re-seated it . Been driving now for a couple of weeks in some heavy rain and no leaks as yet. I am still monitoring this issue.
Once you have the interior trunk carpeting and trim removed you will see an area with seam sealer all around it, near this area on each side close to the back of the rear lights are two metal shaped pockets, these also fill up with water. This indicates in my instance that the water leak is either from the seal and or the gasket around the tail lights.
Another good way to locate leaks is after the rear trim and carpeting is removed, place some talc powder on the panels, you can see the tracks of water and where it originates from.
Good Luck./
EDIT: Your scenario appears to be totally different to mine. In my case there is no water in the cabin area, just in the spare wheel bay, thats where it ends up and its travelling from the tailgate light / seal area. Common issue.
