Impressions After Almost a Week (Long)
Here's an update on impressions--roughly 6 weeks after I picked up my TSX.
The car has about 1200 miles on it.
The abyss of winter has arrived--that means rain with daytime highs hovering barely above 60 degrees F. (Below 60, and I don't favor wearing shorts and t-shirts outside.)
The rain had stopped sometime last night, and this morning my car was wet. The sky was clear and sunny, but the temperate was brisk. As I was driving to work, I opened the driver side window, and pow!--a soaking of water flowed right into the car. (I had opened the window to get a better view of the very wet side view mirror so that I could make a lane change.)
I just discovered that this car has no drainage "gutter" for the roofline/windows.
Like many others, I do get an occassional creak or rattle in the headliner/sunroof area. This started after the car had clocked about 1000 miles.
The car does drift to the left, so I need to have the alignment checked. All of my previous Hondas have had this problem as an ongoing maintenance issue, so it works for me to have alignment done once a year or else I'll get uneven premature tire wear.
Oh, shifting is a lot better. When the car was very new, I mentioned some inconsistency in the feel of shifting, but it's much better now.

If your alignment goes once a year you should rethink your driving style... and layoff the bumps. I've had numerous cars over the years and the only time i ever had to have an alignment done to my car was due to because i had to replace a CV joint. Car would only turn right (couldn't turn left).... (drove it that way to the dealership) it was funny.
