If you're 25, and mommy and daddy are paying for your car, and you're not in school or something, I'd generally say that said individual is out of touch with reality, so it wouldn't surprise me that they do not know or care how contradicting or lame it looks.
Not that I'm saying the OP in this thread is either, but if it walks like a duck...

HILARIOUS! Dude, I'd get a job, save the money and buy the complete set all at once. I would have to agree that it is very GHETTO to just buy 1 or 2 at a time.

Yes, that's what I mean. Regardless, this kid should get a job, make his own car payments and learn RESPONSIBILITY and PRIORITIES.
He's obviously lost....

Ghetto way of getting wheels:
Responsible way to get wheels:
The ghetto way reminds me of the story someone told in ramblings about a teenager working at Burger King with gold teeth. He was telling one of his coworkers while flipping burgers that he only had enough money for the top set, but in a while he's going to have enough for the bottoms.
Dan's advice: You're not a baller if you have to pay for your bling in installments.
Sure it's cool to have 20" rims or a gold-plated wang, but if you can't afford it, you look ridiculous.
Put money away for the things that matter and set some aside for fun stuff, like rims. Once you have enough to afford the set, buy it in one shot, but don't sacrifice your other savings to do so.
I'm a baller riding on dubs. Ya, I only have the left side done for now, but if in a few paychecks I'll have enough for the full set.
I was fortunate enough to be given this TSX as a gift, and I saved for a long time to get these rims.
