If you were to have $40,000?

I would get a used NSX with that kind of dough. Maybe a '93 or so and use the rest for gas and insurance (not to mention some TIRES!)
You wouldn't believe some of the used exotics out there, people baby those things and they have NOT been abused at all. I just need 40 grand now...

Or that there is a race-prepped NSX that will be raced at a professional level again? (it's the one pictured over there on the left...) :-)

Bought my TSX and put $15,000 into a mutual fund... and with what I already had in there I'll be putting a downpayment on a house.
So which would you prefer:
A. TSX + House
B. BMW 3-series
enjoy your Bimmer.

When I worked for a Honda dealership not too long ago, I had to opportunity to drive a pre-production model of the Accord. It was only an I-4 with a 5 speed stick but still... this was 4 months before it was available for a public test drive... I miss those days...

I had lost enough money in stocks and mutual funds to buy a brand fucking new TSX in the last few years.

For added peace of mind there's always Certified Pre-owned vehicles. I firmly believe that pre-owned vehicles are the way to go--no matter how much money is involved.

used 3.2L Evo M3 and have it shipped over from Deuschland. woohoo! you'll still have $$$ to spare... (maybe at McDonalds)
or better yet used "bulletproof" supra turbo w/ single turbo conversion..
I've always found a fascination with these two cars. They're beautiful, fast, great around the tracks, fast, elegant, fast, stylish, fast... oh and did I mention fast?
they're some of the best all around cars of the 90s in that "hey I'm coming out of college making about 45 grand a year and want to spend it on a car but don't mind eating ramen noodles for 90% of my meals" market.
how could you ask for anything more? great handling, great performance, great reliability (as per the supra turbo), and great looking...
hands down..
TSX is a nice car though a bit expensive at MSRP. I'd wait a while before purchasing one.
Top of the lin 325ci is awaste of money. Though they're built well all around you've got a pussy ass engine to lug around the groceries in. Going from even the TSX one would be dissappointed in its performance. Styling though is a plus but interior space is a negative. The backseats are basically nonexistent on the 325ci. The 325i is a big MAYBE. It's nice, sporty looking, but still lacks that bite that a sports sedan should have.
That audi A4 is sweet looking... and with a few mods the 1.8T sure will give you a swift kick in the nuts. Fun to drive car but the recent body style makes it look boatlike almost. A bit too big for its sporty market.
and we can all of course forget about a new 5 series... expect to sell both kidneys for that one. Fully loaded tehy'll probably outprice a base E46 M3.
as for the G35 sedan, I think it's crap. but that's jmho. Many will disagree and praise the impressive VQ motor. It's nice and all but an engine alone doesn't make a car. It's a dissappointment to me inside and out. THE G35C however is much sexier even if everyone complains about its interior.
so that's my $.02 on this...

The stock market has been cycling up and down since the days of Charles Dow and Edward Jones. It's probably been cycling up and down since the stock that was bought and sold on Wall Street was livestock. Nothing that's happened the last few years is new. Nothing. September 2001? Terrorists blew up Wall Street in September 1920.
