Question If You Turn Off VSA

If you turn off the VSA and kill the engine, would it be automatically enabled when you restart the engine?
I recall the owner's manual stating it should but mine did not.
Could someone please verify. Thanks.

If it is enabled the light is off. So are you saying that the light comes on and stays on if you restart the car? If so, see your dealer. If the light is off, then the VSA is switched ON and all is normal.

Could you verify? Maybe your VSA [!] light will also stay on after restarting?

Just to clarify one point... I can switch it on again, i.e. the [!] indicator will go off.

it does turn the VSA back on, but you have to take your key out of the ignition, then put the key back in the ignition...

I assume you tried this? I had the VSA off yesterday but forgot to re-enable it. I noticed it was still off when I drove the car today. Lemme try it again.

I can confirm that the VSA will turn on again after the engine died. I killed my engine on one of the runs today, spun and killed the engine in the process. After restarting the engine, VSA turned back on (indicator off).

It's just like overdrive on some cars. Over drive is automatically engaged whenver you start up the car, then you have to turn if off if you don't want to drive with overdrive on.

The VSA should turn back on everytime you restart the car.
