Angry I think the door lock actuator went

I cant tell what this problem is but based off google searches it seems that this is a big problem that acura just didnt care enough to do a recall.

So basically my driver side car door will not lock with the key anymore, the rear driver side stopped working aswell but i didnt care as much. This is actually a problem as when i close my car door and start the car, the dash indicates that the driver side door is still open and when i press down the door lock it goes right back up along with the car lock button on the side near the power windows wont lock the door.

Thank you!

This happened on my TL at about 75K miles. Doors wouldn't lock with remote. I had to replace the door lock actuator. I used metallic tape to reseal the plastic behind the door panel.

WAIT I FIXED IT.

So ever since i got the car the Interior lights fuse always randomly pops. I figure this has to do with the aftermarket radio that was installed so i just bought a pack of 100 when it was on sale on ebay($7) and keep them in my cars trunk. So today it popped and i went to go open the fuse box when i saw on the diagram that is had the door lock fuse as well. Well this got me thinking maybe this issue is related to the fuse? Sure enough i took the fuse out for the door lock it was not blown so i put it back in and it worked! The door locks and it dosent do the same issue that it was before!

Hopefully this helps someone, before they run to change the actuator. It looks like a tedious DIY.
