Hey all,

I need to find a new touch screen for my 2005 TSX, does anyone know where i can find one without having to pay the dealership price? Also, about how much is it to replace?
I cracked the screen with a ski. That's the last time i borrow out my rack to someone. Thanks

Wow that sucks!

Just out of curiousity, how easy is it to damage the screen through just normal every day use? I'm not used to touching a monitor, I'm used to hitting a key or whatever. I get paranoid every time I hit the screen. Worried that I might be pressing it to hard or pressing it to often! I would think it could hold up np's but damn that paranoia!

It will last as long as you let it.
the problem is : YOU
You have to overcome this psychological obstacle.
Just rememebr to TOUCH it not press it.

also, try to c if you can get this fixed thru warranty, tell them u dont know how it happened or try insurance

Ouch, sorry to hear that.
If you are to get from dealer, I think it'll be #15 on this page
3 Alternatives:
1) eBay obviously, just have to have patience and wait for something like this to come up
2) Salvage yard - there are parts locating service, you just pay a small fee and they try to find it for you.

Last time I checked, he's not willing to part out. But maybe a better offer might change his mind

ah my bad.
I was looking under year 2004 - For 2004, that part is not listed separately.

I can still see all of the display, but i can not touch anything. It is just the glass or plastic that is damaged.

What a crock. Almost two grand for a cheapo low-res LCD display that costs < $100.

^^ exactly, it would be cheaper and better if u did a whole carputer install instead
did u try calling your insurance company? (just dont tell them you did it)
