I need Alignment assistance!!
I have eibach prokit springs on my car, no chamber kits. Well I went to an alignment guy and the aligned everything except my rear wheels. He left them at -2 and -2.5 for the chamber. Now I have a question. Can't he tuck them in?? It should be adjustable even without a chamber kit. He was trying to sell me the Chamber kits but overpriced, so I said no. Please help me!
Also, is it possible to install the chamber kit myself? Easy?

The rear camber is not adjustable without an aftermarket camber kit...it's as simple as that. Not too difficult to install, but you'll have to pay to have the car re-aligned again after you're done.

Oh another question, if the alignment for the Toes went like this...
Front
Left Initial = -.30 Final = 0.05
Right Initial = -.15 Final = 0.10
Rear
Left Initial = 0.10 Final = 0.10
Right Initial = 0.10 Final = 0.15
When you do an alignment, shouldn't they all read Zero for the final?

my front and rear toes are set to 0.
i had major toe in on the rears, and they were screwing up the driving dynamics big time. my rear would twitch like crazy.
here is my post after an initial alignment:

here is my post after an initial alignment:
pre-alignment - front
L: caster = +2.8, camber = -1.04, toe = +0.09
R: caster = +2.68, camber = -0.76, toe = +0.06
rear
L: camber = -0.56, toe = 0.84
R: camber = -0.36, toe = 0.15
holy shit... i couldn't believe the readings on the rear when i first saw them. how the hell did the toe settings go off like that in a matter of 5 days...
the mechanic couldn't understand it either, and he remembers the install/alignment last weekend. i saw him tighten everything last weekend when i did the first alignment.
today, the mechanic double-checked the bolts and the camber kit prior to the alignment, and everything was tight.
i don't know what happened... last weekend, i remember him re-tightening the bolts and camber kit after the alignment readers were off the wheels. maybe this was when the specs went whack...
anyways, toe settings are at "0" for all 4 corners. i'll be watching the rear wheels very carefully these next few days to see if i can eye changes to the toe again.
