I joined the 500 club!
woot! I could have made it longer but I just wanted to join the club. When I filled up I have another 1.75 gallons left. I did 502.4 miles on 15.25 gallons. I will post up pictures later...

Wow.. how the heck can you make the damn car get 500 miles on 1 tank???
I'm jealous man......... I'm lucky if I can get 360 on a 14 gallon... How me your trick... ^_^...

Isn't that a good feeling? It's fun to tell people we can get 500 miles out of a tank. They all say, "500 miles! How big is your tank?"

I just joined the 500 club on Tuesday myself. I got 506 miles and filled up 16 gal. That included a couple traffic jams in downtown Boston, but clearly mostly highway miles. I have a 6MT.

what is your average speed to do this? The most I can get is 430 or so but I've never had a trip long enough to really do a ton of highway miles without getting into city traffic
