How tall are TSX Drivers
Need to get a TSX owner basketball game going or something, damn u guys are huge, 5'6...5'7 here somehwere in there....fit more then confortibly in the TSX...also agree that the door locks are a problem, been thinking about clipping the chord a lil lower or something so it goes all the way in when locked...anyone do this
I am 5'6". It's is reassuring that even if I grow another half to a foot, I will still be comfortable in TSX
.
Following a posting earlier in the same thread, how different does MT drives with more weight inside the car ?

5'6" and probably downhill from here.
i know the tsx has plenty of front leg room, but i'm surprised people over 6' can fit comfortably in it. my chair is almost all the way back because i don't like keeping my knees bent too much while driving. only drawback is it leaves about 6" or so of legroom for the rear passenger.

I'd say anything under 6' for two people in the back is good. Make sure people up front move forward as far as they can. The problem comes when you try to go 3 (and rarely but sometimes 4) across in the back, but it is doable. I looked at the Mazda 6 and the G35 coupe as well, and the TSX rear seats were much more comfortable than both.
I'm 6-1 and most of my height is in my legs. Therefore, I have the seat up as high as it will go and then the seat portion tilted back. I find this gives my thighs support, which helps prevent numb-ass syndrome on long drives. Strangely (or maybe not since the thigh support also insures that legs are comfortably bent and supported), seat is nowhere near as far back as it will go. Even halfway comfortable "in back of myself" although I'm not sure I'd want to go cross country.

I'm 5'10"....I don't have the seat moved all the way back (gotta work the clutch) but seat back is back enough that the B-pillar is blocking me...I'm just more confortable in that position, this is true for all cars that I drive. I tend to hide behind that B-pillar natually

I'm 5'10" and I have no visibility issues.
As for rear seat room...I have a rear-facing car seat in the middle position in the rear and I can still get 1 adult to either side (not big people though) of the car seat.
I've taken my wife, baby, and parents out to dinner and we did not have any issues. Certainly would not want to travel over an hour like that...but that is why we have the SUV!

The TSX is definitely bigger than my old Jetta, which is nice.
I also went from a Jetta to TSX and I agree...the column seems awkwardly placed (of course it has to do with the aerodynamics) though I'm sure I'll get used to it too.Oh and i'm 5'8"...so there's plenty of space in the front and rear.
Great to read all these -- 6'2" and planning to buy a TSX ...after many years since having an '84 Prelude 5MT, which I *REALLY* miss, and hearing about how much the TSX is like the Prelude, looking forward to a sporty car AND leg room again!
I am of normal Asian height (of those in Asia at least) - 5'6", wife is 5'2", child is 2'10" and we fit great in the TSX. I had a 43" vertical leap in college though....I don't know how this help the discussion, but its always fun to get a rebound over one of you taller oafs.
I must be the shortest poster on here so far. I'm 5'1, no problems at all, just a little bit of struggle getting in and out of the car since it was obviously designed for taller people.

My officemate who's 6'5" says the headroom is great.
