Anyone with a service manual that can tell me how to remove the glovebox. Planning to do some custom work on it.. but want to remove it first...

Open the box. Look at the arms that old the door from falling off. Loosen screws. Pull out.

After I pull out, how do I get the glove box door off?

The glove box and the door are the same unit. Have you ever actually looked at doing this? It's really simple.

watch out for the wires attached TO the glovebox. there is a swtich to manually disconnect the trunk from opening from the outside (and with the transmitter).

Replace cabin filter while you're at it.

Someone forgot to mention there are 2 screws, 1 each side of the glovebox at the hinge point, that you have to remove.

Although you do have to be careful of the wires for the glove box for the light and the trunk switch, Acura designed in a string to prevent idiots from hanging the glove box off of the electrical wires.

Like I mentioned before, if you open it and look inside, the car will pretty much tell you what to do. It's easy.

I removed the 2 screws and the box kinda drops...
I see on the left side the wires that go to the switch.
How are they removed... I actually want to remove the whole box...
Do the wires come out or does the whole grey section behind the switch come out.

Secondly, on the right side there is a sliding plastic piece.
how does it come out... I want to know which end is supposed to detach and how... I dont' want to break anything by force... so I'd like to know...

How to remove the side plastic piece of glovebox

So on the right side of the glovebox, there is a plastic piece that attaches the glovebox to the dash... How do I remove that... which end comes off...
and how do the wires on the left come out... They look firmly attached to the switch?

Ok, I figured it out... the piece of plastic on the side, you just have to push forward and it clicks off. For the switch, just follow the wire to the clip and unbuckle the clip. Continue following the wire and it will unplug at the source.

I just want to throw this out there for future readers. If you're JUST trying to remove the glove box then all you have to do is remove those two screws on the hinges just like moda_way wrote. Once you do that you just slide the glove box upwards until you get enough clearance to get the two stopping rails over the plastic of the car. But be aware that you have a wire attached to it that controls your trunk button. Hope this clears up any confusion. =)
